O Blessed Jesus
I woke up at 3am one morning with this song in my head. I tried to go back to sleep, but the Spirit whispered to me: “You asked for revelation. You don’t get to decide when it comes.”
So I got up, wrote down what I could of the melody and spent the next few days writing the hymn version.

I later was inspired to write an SATB performance version that we have performed in church with various groups.
